Registration for the 11th annual National Animal Law Competitions (NALC) is now open!

NALC, presented by the Center for Animal Law Studies and the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF), will take place February 21-23, 2014, at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. NALC draws competitors from top American law schools to participate in three separate competitions:

Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) will once again be providing travel grants to our active student chapters for NALC. Each Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF) chapter is eligible to apply for a maximum grant amount of $500, which can be used to offset the expenses of registration and travel/lodging. Funds awarded must be divided between members; there is only one grant available per chapter. Funds are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
To request a travel grant, the chapter president or treasurer should send an email to Kelly Levenda at email@example.com with the following information:
Chapter name/law school:
Contact person/role in chapter:
Amount requested (up to $500):
Names of participants:
What do you plan to use the grant for (e.g. airfare, registration, hotel, etc.)?
